Excavator sales amount returned to normal in April, Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. took the lead once again

After the counter trend of the excavator in the first quarter, its sales amount returned to normal in April. According to the survey of China Construction machinery business, 29 main excavator manufacturers sold 7156 sets excavators in April totally. Compared to 9284 sets of April 2015, fell 22.92%. Total sales quantity reached 27519 sets from Jan-April 2016, compared to 28353 sets of 2015, dropped 2.94%.
 
Sany Heavy Industry still ranked No.1 in April, sold 1592 sets of excavator, Caterpillar sold 1002 sets ranked No.2, XCMG sold 624 sets ranked No.3. Sales volume in the top eight, the proportion of domestic brands back to the leading position, accounting for four seats in April. View from the overall sales point, the leading edge of domestic brands returned, market share reached 56.79%, Japan and South Korea brand share of 26.58%, European and American brands share of 16.63%.
 
Obvious advantages of mini-excavators, Sany acheived comprehensive leading
The mini excavator below 13T sold 4032 sets in April , share of 56.34%; 13 tons - 30 tons of medium excavator (not including 30 tons) sold 2542 sets, share of 35.52%; 30 tons or more large-scale excavator sold 582 sets, share of 8.13% of total sales, Obvious advantages still existed of mini-excavators.
 
Sany Heavy Industry list No.1 based on 786 sets high sales volume, shared a total sales of 19.49% in April; Caterpillar sold 410 sets, shared of 10.17%; XCMG sold 409 sets, shared of 10.14%.
In midi excavators, Sany is still the No.1, sold 686 sets. Caterpillar sold 460 sets ranked No.2, XCMG sold 202 sets marked No.3. For large excavators,, only Caterpillar and Sany sales volume exceeded 100 sets, 132 sets and 120 sets respectively.
